Dwight Lewis – Obituary

 Dr. Dwight LewisDr. Dwight Lewis, a longtime Albertville chiropractor, passed away November 23th at 90 years of age. He was born on May 1st, 1928 in Alexandria, OH to William and Ethel Lewis. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Bebout Chiropractic College. He settled in Albertville where he happily maintained a chiropractic office for almost 50 years. His passion was healing people and he loved succeeding in doing so.

Dwight was not only known for his professional contribution to the community, but for his infectious smile and kind compassionate spirit. He always had a positive attitude and found goodness in everyone he met. He was a devoted husband to Betty and father to Sherry and Pam. He loved Albertville, college football and cars.

He is survived by his daughters: Sherry Lewis (Paul) Abbott of Marietta, GA and Pam Lewis (Brian) Byrne of Dahlonega, GA. Grandchildren: Mallory Abbott (Rory) Kiefer, Nathan Lewis Abbott, Courtney Shannon Byrne, and great-grandson Barrett Ryan Kiefer. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Betty Hufford Lewis, his parents Ethel and William Lewis, and Brother Keith Lewis.

Interment was at Memory Hill Cemetery in Albertville.
