Florence Police Looking For Suspect In Thursday Afternoon Assault

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted for Assault 2nd after officers responded to a call on Thursday, December 6:

“ASSAULT 2nd INVESTIGATION

12/06/2018

At approximately 5:15 pm Officers with Florence Police Department responded to a fight in the 100 block of N Seminary St. When Officers arrived, they found a white male, Joshua Daniel, laying on the sidewalk  unconscious and bleeding. Officer then started first aid and collecting witness statements. Several witnesses stated that Mr. Daniel and a black male came into the business together. They then stated that an argument started that lead to a fight. The other male left the scene before Officers arrived. Detectives are currently working to locate the other subject to speak to him. Mr. Daniel was flown to Huntsville Hospital where he is in critical condition.
