Rubye Jean Palmer, of Sheffield, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the age of 90. Her visitation will be today, December 6, 2018 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield, with Rodney Shewbart.
Rubye was a native of Sheffield and a member of York Terrace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Palmer; parents, Jess and Mary Smith Tittle; brothers, Edgar Tittle, Bruce Tittle, Virgil Tittle and Robert Tittle; and two infant sisters.
Her survivors include her sons, Phillip Wayne Palmer (Jan) of Gulf Shores and Christopher Gene Palmer (Pam) of Mobile; sister, Mary Tate Davis of Florence; granddaughters; great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her family and friends.
