ATHENS-Athens Police Chief Floy Johnson issued a press release concerning the arrest of a suspect wanted on several charges of Breaking and Entering a Vehicle on Monday, December 3:
“Douglas Leon Green was arrested on Monday, December 3 by investigator Jarrod Smith on 3 counts of breaking and entering vehicles.
Green entered 3 different vehicles located in the 18000 Block of Jefferson Street between Sunday night and Monday morning. Taken were 2 CD players, a socket wrench set and a carburetor.
Green was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail.”
