Email Scam In Madison County Involving The Madison County Sheriff

By  | December 3, 2018 | Filed under: News

MADISON COUNTY-Madison County Sheriff Blake Dorning issued a statement on Monday, December 3 regarding an email scam that has been circulating in Madison County stating it is from Sheriff Dorning:

“This email was reported to Sheriff Dorning. Neither Sheriff Dorning nor any MCSO employee will be sending an email of this nature out to anyone. (Note the sent email domain is not a Madison county domain. The phone number is not a 256 area code. The so-called attached doc was most likely a phishing link.)
