Mrs. Sarah Allie “Sally” McNeill Dunn, age 77, of Arab, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
Mrs. Dunn was born on September 5, 1941 in Burknett, Texas to John Ashley McNeill & Sarah Bonnie Bourn McNeill. Sally was married to the late Jerry Wayne Dunn who passed on July 10, 2002. She was the former owner of Helen’s Flowers that was located in Arab for more than 20 years. She also served as a Library Aid for the Arab City School System. Sally valued traveling and loved going home to Texas and visiting the Smoky Mountains. She enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of Arab Church of Christ.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by her sons & daughter-in-laws, Keith Dunn & Sherry, Craig Dunn, David Dunn & Roni; sister & brother-in-law, Hannah Tyler & Ken; sister-in-laws, Ginny McNeill, Rosemary Washam & Wayne, Marina Dunn; grandchildren, Cory Dunn. Chandler Dunn, Alora Hartley & Cody, Grayson Dunn, Griffin Dunn, Mattie Dunn, Sarah-Ashley Dunn; caregiver, Regina Lyles. Preceded in death by her parents, John Ashley McNeill & Sarah Bonnie Bourn McNeill; husband, Jerry Wayne Dunn; brother, Bobby McNeill; sister, Linda McNeill.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 1, 2018 at Arab Church of Christ with Bro. Ken Tyler, officiating. Burial will be in Mtn. View Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Cory Dunn, Grayson Dunn, Griffin Dunn, Todd Tyler, Wes Tyler, Kent Tyler, Tim Dunn, John McNeill.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday November 30, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
