Natchez Trace Parkway News Release – Blackland Prairie Section of the National Scenic Trail Re-opens

TUPELO, MS-A small portion of the Blackland Prairie section of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail from Lakeshire Drive to Highway 78/I-22 has been re-opened (milepost 263.3 to 263.8). This portion of the trail was recently closed due to hazardous trees from a previous storm. The hazard trees were removed, and the trail is now open to users.
