Mrs. Reba Brooks of Albertville passed away Monday November 19, 2018 at her residence. Visitation will be held Friday November 23, 2018 at Rock Springs Baptist Church from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm with the service at 1:00pm burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Horton. Mrs. brooks is survived by her daughters; Brenda Hall, Mary Riddle, sons; Michael (Amanda) Brooks, Jackie Brooks, Brother; Bob “Bobbie” Walden, Grandchildren; Amy (Scott) Harris, Angela (Steve) Ward, Michael Wayne Cordell, Rusty (Lydia) Brooks, Jeremy Riddle, David Riddle, Lily Brooks, Ivy Brooks, Great Grandchildren; Jake (Chelsea) Harris, Mary Elizabeth Harris, Emily Ward, Caroline Ward, River Brooks, Dalton Cordell. She was born to Rev. Andrew & Viola Walden of Eva Alabama, 1 sister and 8 Brothers.

Mrs. Brooks was my 4th grade teacher and a good one. I used to wish to have a ’67 Chevy like hers when I grew up. I would like to say to her family my sympathies and let them know I appreciated the time spent in her classroom.
