Hazel Jean Shaw Cole of Waynesboro, TN was born January 20, 1930 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Walter William and Eliza Elizabeth Devers Shaw. She married Billy J. Cole on February 12, 1949. Mrs. Cole was retired from Genesco and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, TN. Mrs. Cole departed this life on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 9 Months, 24 Days. She is survived by her husband, Billy J. Cole of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Timothy Shaw Cole and wife, Jennifer of Mount Juliet, TN; grandsons, Brady, Peyton and Grayson Cole and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by a brother, W. J. Shaw.

Services will be Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Chris Blalock officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm and Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 9 am to 10:15 am at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brady, Peyton and Grayson Cole, Chris and Derrick Bevis, Ken and Steve Shaw and Terry Davis.
