Mrs. Blondine H. Lacey, age 96, of Corley Avenue, Boaz, Alabama died on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Service will be held at Two o’clock p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Union FCM Church with Bro. Doyce Putman and Bro. Ricky Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from noon until service time at the church.
Mrs. Lacey was born in Alabama on July 30, 1922 to Buford & Dessie Garrard Hamby. She was a retired seamstress.
Mrs. Lacey is survived by her Son & Daughter-in-Law: David & Myra Lacey of Boaz, Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Sandra & Toby Walker of Tennessee and Jennie & Johnny Hix of Boaz, 11 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her Parents: Buford & Dessie Hamby, Husband: Arlie Lacey, Son: Kyle Lacey and Daughters: Sherry Oldacre Holley and Lesia Johnson, Grandchildren: Joshua Lacey and Kyndall Lacey Iocca.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons: Brad Hix, Lee Hix, Matthew Oldacre, Nathan Oldacre, Jason Walker and Mark Whitley.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donation to the Marshall County Alzheimer’s Association.
