Lonnie E. Prince – Obituary

A beautiful love story: Mr. Lonnie E. Prince, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on November 6, 2018 at the age of 81, leaving behind his soulmate of 65 years. His visitation will be Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Mike Westfall officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Lonnie was a native of Lauderdale County and built homes in Georgia for many years. He was a member of Grace Cross Roads Church in Florence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Ola Pearl Prince; and siblings, Christine Dooley, Marie McClure, Homer Prince, John Prince and Billy Prince.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty D. Prince; sons, Dwayne E. Prince (Betty) of Dawsonville, Georgia and Darryl E. Prince (Belissa) of Dahlonega, Georgia; daughters, Denise E. Prince of Dahlonega, Georgia and Deborah E. Prince White (James) of Muscle Shoals; brothers, Robbie Prince and Donald Prince, both of Cumming, Georgia and Ronald Prince of Winder, Georgia; sister, Barbara Simbeck of Missouri; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Prince, Jonathan Prince, Jared Wilson, Justin Wilson, Cody Wallis and Dawson Prince. Honorary pallbearers will be John Gargis, Regan Matlock, Michael Borden and Gary McFall.
