Marjorie I. NashMarjorie I. Nash, 81, of Rogersville died Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018, 12-2 PM at Elkins East Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel with Bro. Randy Baker officiating.  Burial will be at Hurricane Cemetery.

Mrs. Nash was born in Lauderdale County, Alabama.  She was married to James Oakley Goodman and later to Fred Nash.  She worked in the past at sewing factories, cafes, and also at Glenwood Nursing Home as a nursing assistant.  She was a substitute in the dining room in the school.  She worked at the Senior Center in Rogersville.  She enjoyed singing country and gospel music and sang “Cowboy Sweetheart”.  She could yodel and likes to play bingo and enjoyed going to the music shows.  She was a member of Cedar Grove Church of Christ.

Mrs. Nash was preceded in death by two husbands, James O. Goodman and Fred W. Nash; son, Larry W. Goodman; great-granddaughter, Kelsey Marie Goodman; step-sons, Gene and Dean Nash; siblings, Roy McDonald, Dorothy Staggs, and Susie McDonald.

Mrs. Nash is survived by her daughters, Teresa Weathers (Dale) and Regina Nash; son, Myron Goodman (Sissy); 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Doug Riggs, Parker Riggs, Todd Riggs, Eric Goodman, Jon Campbell, and Ian Case.
