Richard “Dicky” Lee Thompson, age 73, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Thomasville, Georgia.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Slaughter Fellowship Hall at First United Methodist Church, Haleyville, Alabama. There will also be a visitation Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST at Allen & Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville, Georgia. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. EST at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Thomasville, Georgia.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Judy Norton Thompson; children, Kelsey (Todd) McNutt, Andrea (Andrew) Burch and Kate (Alex) Lyubarsky; siblings, Jane (Gary) Brady, Patricia (Larry) Dennis and Sonny (Carolyn) Thompson; and grandchildren, Cooper McNutt, Sadie McNutt & Emerson Burch.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Sadie Thompson; and brother, Ray Thompson.
