Mr. Ronald M. Franklin, age 69, of Altoona died on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Franklin was born in Alabama On January 1, 1949 to Clarence and Laura Franklin. Mr. Franklin served in the United States Marines during The Vietnam War.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Faith FCM Church, where he will Lie-in-State at the church from 11:00am – 12:00pm. Bro. Blair Self, Bro. Jimmy Umphrey and Bro. Eric Snead officiating with burial to follow in Faith Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

Mr. Franklin is survived by his Son & Daughter-in-Law: Jay & Kari Franklin of Tennessee. Daughter & Son-in-Law: Lauri & Larry Rose of Altoona. Grandchildren: Blakely Franklin, C.J. Franklin, Jaelyn Rosenberger and Braylee King. Step-Grandchildren: Grace Anne Rose and Buck Rose. Sisters & Brothers-in-Law: Judy & Jimmy Dyar of Walnut Grove, Becky Oliver of Altoona and Nancy & Donald Walker of Altoona. Sister-in-Law: Nancy Ford of Altoona.

Pallbearers will be: Johnny Lyles, Tommy Goss, Randy Goss, Phillip Robinson, David Franklin, Thomas Vaughn, Mike Franklin and Mark Franklin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Lane Snead and all Nephews.

Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his Wife: Diane Franklin. Brothers: Charles Franklin, Leon Franklin and Paul Franklin. Sisters: Muriel Goss and Ella Ellis.
