TUSCUMBIA-Authorities report a fatal auto accident involving a pickup truck and a semi truck on Thursday, November 1.
The accident occurred on U.S. 72 in front of Jack’s Restaurant around 7:00 AM.
The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified him as 83-year-old Billy James.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was treated for injuries at the scene.
The two-vehicle accident is under investigation.
