Barry Linn Hays of Hartselle passed away on October 30, 2018. His visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Roselawn Funeral Chapel with Pastor Brian Canutesen and Dwayne Woodall officiating. He will be laid to rest in Roselawn Cemetery.
Barry Linn Hays is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Rita Eubanks Hays; his children, Jamie (Eric) Cleveland, Kimberly (Jonathan) Hedden and Shane (Kelly) Hays; grandchildren, Benjamin Hedden, Anya Cleveland and Alora Cleveland; sisters, Burna (Mike) Orebaugh, and Beverly (Mark) Howse plus a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Hurshel Ronald Hays and his mother, Winfred Lee Dye Hays. Born in Birmingham area, graduate of Holly Pond High School, attended Bethany Bible College. Retired from Champion Paper Company/International Paper Company after 36 years. He was a member of Family Baptist Church in Trinity.
Pallbearers include J. Shane Hays, Jonathan Hedden, Mark Howse, Earl Murphy, Mike Orbaugh, Keith Sizemore. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of the Valley or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
