D 11/1/2018 Charles JacksonA Celebration of Life for Charles Edward Jackson, Jr., 60, of Decatur will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Shiloh M.B. Church with inhumation in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral. Public viewing will be Friday from 3-7 and Saturday from 10-7 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Charles was born on September 18, 1958 in Decatur to the union of Viola White and Charles Edward Jackson, Sr. He departed this life on October 26, 2018 at Huntsville Health and Rehab. He was a graduate of Austin High School. He also attended Calhoun Community College. He was an employee at Cell- Pak Services until his illness.

Charles was reared in a loving Christian home by his God-fearing parents who taught him about the Lord. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church at the age of 15.

Charles was a very talkative and fun loving person. He talked so much and so loud that he was given the nickname “Yaddie.” He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Jackson, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Myra Williams, Charlandria Jackson and her children, Ariyon and Azariyel Evans; his son, Kendrick Jackson; and his mother, Viola White Jackson, all of Decatur; his brother, Frederick Wade (Shelia) Jackson and their children, Micah and Mishael Jackson, all of Huntsville; his uncles/brothers, Danny and Toney White, Gregory and Jameel Jackson; his aunt/sister, Phyllis Scott; maternal uncles, Will, Thomas Lee, Carnell, Ivory Joe and John White; maternal aunts, Sam Etta Garrett, Estelle Cohen and Alberta White; great aunt, Jane Jackson; paternal uncles, Jessie and Russell Jackson; and a host of cousins.
