MUSCLE SHOALS-Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) Public Relations Department received four (4) awards and was recognized for its outstanding marketing and public relations efforts by the Alabama Community College System Public Relations Association (ACCSPRA).During ACCSPRA’s recent annual conference in Orange Beach, Ala., NW-SCC’s Public Relations department accepted two (2) Pyramid Awards, one (1) Award of Achievement and one (1) Awards of Merit.
The College was presented awards in the following categories for marketing and public relations materials created and/or used during the 2017-2018 year:
- Pyramid Award 2018 Summer Course Schedule
- Pyramid Award Online Newsletter: The NW-SCC Network
- Award of Merit Direct Mail/Postcards: Student Recruitment Postcard
- Award of Achievement Photography: 2018 Kids in College Brings the Heat
The Pyramid Awards ceremony recognized two-year college public relations, marketing and recruiting professionals who submitted marketing and public relations materials.
The mission of ACCSPRA is to enhance the image, strengthen and promote awareness and public perception of the Alabama Community College System.
