Rickey Allen Mansel, 58, of Moulton passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. A private memorial service will be planned at a later date. Lawrence Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Rickey worked at GA Foods as a driver, enjoyed assembling model cars, and was an avid history buff. He also enjoyed being active is his Echota Tribal activities.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Mansel; sister, Debbie (Joe) Williams; step father, James Murphree; two nieces and a nephew; and two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila Murphree
The family extends special thanks to the ICU department, the Palliative Care Unit and third floor nurses and staff at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lawrence Funeral Home to assist with Rickey’s funeral expenses.
