Kenneth James Parker – Obituary

Kenneth James Parker, 45, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield. Born in Slidell, Louisiana, he was a graduate of Phil Campbell High School. He was a former resident of Loretto, Tennessee and had lived in Tuscumbia for the past four months. A member of First Baptist Church of Loretto, he was a former youth minister at Spruce Pine Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Loretto. He also served as Fellowship of Christian Athletes Character Coach for the Loretto Football Team.
Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will be Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home chapel with Jim Poss, Greg Beasley and Sammy Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery at Mt. Joy in Phil Campbell, Alabama.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Angie Parker; father, Foster Parker of Phil Campbell; siblings: Kandy Barnett and Steven Parker and his wife Chasity; parents-in-law, Sammy and Debbie Wallace; sister-in-law, Felicia Rutledge and husband Andy; and brother-in-law, Jamie Wallace. Ten nieces and nephews as well as three God children also survive him as do many friends.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Carol Parker.
The family requests no flowers.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
