Frances Kolbe SuddarthFrances Kolbe Suddarth was born on October 22, 1934 in Lebanon, Tennessee. She ended her
earthly life to go to her eternal home in heaven on October 24, 2018. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 61 years, Rev. William T. Suddarth, Jr. and parents Andrew Darnell and Paralee Miggett Kolbe. Frances leaves behind a daughter and son in law, Nancy and Jim Harrison, and son and daughter in law, Billy and Jamie Suddarth; three grandchildren, Heather (Jonathan) Downs, Adam (Karen) Suddarth and Sarah Suddarth; two sisters, Louise Jones, Annie Sue Patton, and one brother Jack Kolbe all of Lebanon, Tennessee. She also leaves behind several family members included nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.Frances was a devoted mother, pastor’s wife and teacher of 33 years. 31 of those years she taught at Elkton Elementary School, Elkton, Tennessee. After the passing of her husband she continued her faithful service to her Lord and Savour at Elkton Baptist. As one of her former
students said, “She was the kindest, most caring teacher I’ve ever had. She loved teaching
children the school curriculum but most of all she loved teaching them about Jesus.” She will be
missed, but her witness is not over. Visitation will be held at Elkton Baptist Church at 11:00 am with a celebration of Life Service at 12:00 on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Frances Kolbe Suddarth.
