Sue Gist, 80, died Tuesday, October 23, at Carrington House, Iuka, MS. She was born March 22, 1938 in Tishomingo County, MS to Wess and Vera Aldridge. She was a bank bookkeeper and a member of Tishomingo United Methodist Church.
Services will be Saturday, October 27, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Steve Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Tishomingo City Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two brothers – Ken Aldridge (Millie) Caledonia, MS and Bobby Aldridge (Betty) Tishomingo, MS and five nieces and nephews – Ron Aldridge (Kathryn), Leasha Jones (Chris), Tommy Aldridge, Danny Aldridge and Ramona Willis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gist and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Chris Jones, Ron Aldridge, Danny Aldridge, Cody Aldridge, Michael Floyd and Tommy Floyd.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 27, 1-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
