Two Dead After Single-Vehicle Accident In Lauderdale County

LAUDERDALE COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a traffic accident that has taken the lives of two Waterloo women on October 23:

“On 10/23/2018 at 9:43 PM the Quad Cities Trooper Post was notified of a double fatality on CR 15 in Lauderdale County. The crash occurred on CR 15 one half mile north of CR 6 approximately 10 miles west of Florence.

Killed in the crash were Shana Peters, 30, of Waterloo, AL. and Stephanie Cradic, 27, also of Waterloo, AL. The victims were cousins. The vehicle was travelling south on CR 15 when it left the west side of the road, hit a culvert and rolled over. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and the passenger was trapped in the vehicle. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene by Lauderdale County Deputy Coroner Mike Bishop.

Speed was a factor in the crash.”
