F.10.19.18 Randy Brown.jpgRandy Newton Brown, 65, of Florence, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, 21, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Brother Keith Pope will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Randy was a member and a Deacon of Grace Bible Church of the Shoals. He was the co-owner operator of Barnett and Brown Furniture Store since 2001 and retired in 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bobbie Nell Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Martha Brown; daughters, Amber Gregory (Brady) and Ashley Scott (Rico); brothers, Roger (Judy), Ricky (Vickie) and Greg Brown; grandchildren, Skylar Woodard, MaLyric Scott, Harmony Scott, Lainey Gregory and Braxton Gregory; host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Harry Wallace, Anthony Hipps, Brent Smith, Josh Pope, Tommy Williams, David Crosby and Darrell Tatum.

Randy’s compassion for people led him to serve the Lord through mission trips, volunteering with multiple charities and spreading kindness everywhere he went. Randy enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, golfing with brothers and friends, watching Atlanta Braves and Alabama football and playing in the Praise Band.
