Thomas Eugene “Bud” King, age 83 of Elkmont, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. King was born June 10, 1935 in Athens, AL to Ross Andrew King and Rachel E. Foster King.
Services for Mr. King are Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with Tim Keenum officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his daughter, Verona Hargrave and husband Mike; son, Donald King and wife Dwanna; sister, Christine Craig; grandchildren, Joey King, Lindsey Epps, Zach Atchley, Meagan Carter and Jason Linderman; great grandchildren, Maddie Epps and Paxton King.
Preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean King; brothers, J.B. King and Ross King, Jr.
Pallbearers are Tim King, Curtis King, Joey King, Ronald Craig, Donald King and Gerald Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are James Sims and Jason Linderman.
