James “Kenneth” McClure – Obituary

James “Kenneth” McClure, 81, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away, Sunday, October 7, 2018. He was a member of Burnsville Church of Christ in Burnsville Mississippi and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Reynolds Alloys after over 35 years of loyal service. His family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 12pm until 2pm. Minister Rick Jones will then conduct the service beginning at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Chapel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Owen McClure and Ruby Creasy McClure; mother-in-law, Catherine Fields.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Norma Gay McClure; sons, Wendell Keith McClure and wife, Dena, John Roger McClure and fiancé, Jamie Sharp; daughters, Deborah Lynn Burden and husband, Stoney, Marla Renee Smith and husband, David, Nikki LaVonne Koch and husband, James; brothers Eugene McClure, Sam McClure and wife, Mae; sister, Shirley Vest and husband, Jimmy, Marti Fisher and husband, Larry, Margaret King and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Lyndsie McClure, Mitch Dixon, Lauren Mansell and husband, Luke, Madison Hamner and husband, Matt, Abbey McDonald, Max McDonald, and Kinley McClure; great-grandchildren, Hadley, Ensley, Waylon; brother-in-law, Montey Gaisser, Sr. and wife Glenda; sister-in-law, Alice Carol Terry; and a host of nieces, nephews, half brothers, sisters, cousins and friends.

His Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

A special thanks is given to our church family at Burnsville Church of Christ, Dr. Eric Santiago, nurses and staff of ECM Hospital, the staff of Kindred Hospice, family and the many friends for the love and support shown to our family during Kenneth’s  illness.
