David Rivamonte – Obituary

David Rivamonte, 30, of Huntsville, passed away in September. Born and raised in Huntsville, David attended Monte Sano Elementary, Academy for Science and Foreign Languages (ASFL) and Huntsville High School. He worked in an auto painting and collision repair shop, and spent happy hours working on his own cars. He recently helped his sister with her dog boarding and grooming business, continuing his lifelong love of animals. In addition to these interests he also enjoyed gardening, creatively landscaping the family home with salvaged banana trees and varied native plants.

David is survived by his parents, Lorenzo Andre and Carolyn (Madsen) Rivamonte; two sisters, Mary Lyn (Steven) Azar and Belinda Rivamonte, four nephews and nieces; and many other loved relatives.

A memorial service will be held October 20, 2:00PM, at Monte Sano United Methodist Church, with Pastor John Mullaney officiating, immediately followed by his inurnment in the Columbarium at the same location. A private reception will follow.
