Michael H. Epp Michael H. Epp was born on February 15th, 1954, in Walters, Oklahoma, to Harold Epp and Betty Jo Smith, and departed this life in Mount Ida, Arkansas, on Wednesday afternoon, October 3rd, 2018. Michael was married to Theresa Vardell Epp on June 28, 1980.

He graduated from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a licensed Aircraft and Power Plant (A&P) mechanic. Upon graduation, he became a one-third owner of Aircraft Maintenance Services, Inc., servicing the Guymon Airport in Guymon, Oklahoma. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Copeland Equipment in Walters, Oklahoma, and later was employed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, on the airfield as an A&P mechanic for Beech Aerospace and Raytheon. In July of 2000, he began working for the PEO Fixed Wing office contracted through Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and was employed as a logistician.

Michael is survived by his wife, Theresa Epp; a stepmother, Mary Lou Goodsell; a sister, Sherry Nance and husband, Bobby Nance; a brother, Bobby Sides and wife, Brenda Sides; a sister, Debbie Blackburn and husband, Donnie Blackburn; a brother, Jeff Sides and wife, Dena Sides; a brother, Rodney Epp; a sister, Terry Lee and husband, Monte Lee; a sister, Cindy Au; a brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Ann Vardell; a son, Shannon Epp; a son, Jeremy Epp and wife, Tati Epp; a son, Derek Epp and wife, Yoey Epp; a daughter, Lauren Epp and grandchildren Callie Jo Epp, Clayton Epp, Jake Epp, AJ Epp, Waylon Epp and Reese Epp, aunts and uncles, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Wilson, and father, Harold Epp; his father-in-law, A.J. Vardell; a sister-in-law, Candace Vardell.; and a brother, Scott Epp.

Michael is a member of Capshaw Baptist Church in Harvest, Alabama.
