Mrs. Maple Mitchell Ramirez Funeral services for Mrs. Maple Mitchell Ramirez, age 78, are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads on Monday. Mrs. Ramirez passed away on Wednesday in Lexington. She was born August 8, 1940 in Decatur County to the late Boston and Melissa Mary Magdeline Reese Mitchell. She was retired from the Dept. of Corrections. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Ray Ramirez; eight sons, Lynn Boyd (Renae), Anthony Boyd (Justine), David Boyd (Tonya), Robert Boyd (Danielle), Thomas Boyd (Wendy), Jr Ramirez (Gloria), Roy Ramirez (Theresa), and Rey Quiroga (Christina); four daughters, Cynthia Mott (Michael), Sharon Carr, Rose Marie Zavala (Manuel), and Rachel Rodriguez (Ruben); three sisters, Maxie Rushing, Dorothy Hamm, and Mable Ayers;twenty-eight grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Boston Mitchell, Jr.; two sisters, Marie Graham and Nan Stone; and 10 half brothers/sisters.
