Lula K. Horne, 85, of Iuka, MS, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at her residence. Lula enjoyed attending church at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Iuka, shopping, and going to flea markets. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018, at First Freewill Baptist Church in Iuka. Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 at First Freewill Baptist Church in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Jamie Nanny. Burial will follow in First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Page (Anthony) and Marie Smith (Joey), both of Iuka; her son, Billy Horne of Iuka; her sisters, Geraldine Loftis, Evy Loftis (Harlon), Billie Swallows, and Georgie Pearl Fulton; her brother, Floyd Fulton (Janice); her grandchildren, Sonya Smith, Todd Smith, Debbie Hyde (Scottie), Brandon Horne (Brandie), Chris Horne (Brandy), Joey Horne (Beth), Steven Horne, James Horne, and Joshua Vandiver; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a special friend, Judy Rhodes; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Horne, Sr.; her parents, George W. and Bonnie Pearl Neal Fulton; her son, Ricky Horne, Jr.; her grandson, Michael Horne; her brother, Earnest Fulton; and her sister, Lemae Slagles Carr.
