Bonita Wright Thompson Hamilton, 62, of Florence, passed away September 29, 2018. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Gary Gooch officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery.
Bonita was a nurse for over 30 years, working at ECM Hospital and J.W. Sommers Rehab Center. She was totally dedicated to the nursing profession and helping others any way she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Anne Wright and brother-in-law, Albert Allen.
She is survived by her daughters, Kayla Thompson and Kristy Thompson Carter (Adam); grandchildren, Daymian Kirkman, Destini Thompson and Aiden Carter; sisters, Barbara Allen and Brenda Holder (Jack); and special friend, Michael Jarvis.
