James “Jamie” Phelps – Obituary

 James "Jamie" PhelpsJames “Jamie” Phelps of Pulaski passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Pulaski, Giles County on November 6, 1966 and was 51 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and his family was his world. He was employed at SNA Recycling, and loved to hunt and fish. James was a devoted Christian to the Baptist Faith.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3rd from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Bro. Richard Long officiating.
Burial will take place in the Phelps Cemetery, Wales Community.
Memorial donations are suggested to go to the family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Weakley and Henrietta Dickey Phelps and Andy Abe and Irma Alice Booker Smith.
He is survived by his,
Wife of 30 years, Kaye Phelps of Pulaski
Son, Daniel of Nashville
Son, James Jr. “Jaye” of Pulaski
Daughter, Kara of Pulaski
Grandson, Liam Phelps of Pulaski
Parents, Mark and Jean Smith Phelps of Pulaski
Sister, Melissa (Larry) Holman of Pulaski
Sister, Rhonda (Eddie) Miller of Pulaski
Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends also survived.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for James “Jamie” Phelps.
