Betty Sanders Lee Betty Sanders Lee (affectionately known as Bubba to her closest friends and grandchildren) aged 92, of Pulaski, TN passed away surrounded by family and friends on September 28th, 2018.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Bennett May Funeral Home from 5-8 pm. A graveside service on Sunday, October 14th 2018 at 2pm will take place at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, TN with Reverend Robert Montgomery from First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg officiating. Arrangements are by Bennett May Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lee was born in Marshall County, TN to Mary Frank and Earl Sanders on November 12th , 1925. She went to high school in Marshall County and graduated from Peabody College in Nashville, TN with a degree in business.

She married Dan Clayton Lee on October 20th, 1948 in Lewisburg, TN. He worked as an attorney in private practice in Pulaski, TN for 36 years.

She was a beautiful, kind, gracious lady. She enjoyed walking indoors so her hair wouldn’t blow, dressing impeccably and collecting fine jewelry. She adored her daughter, Linda and held her grandsons in dear regard. Betty loved her group of lady friends. They lunched together often, shopped, travelled to New York to the theater, to Atlanta for the opera and toured Europe.

Betty Lee is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dan Clayton Lee, her parents, Mary Frank and Earl Sanders, her beloved brother Phil (Jerrie), and nephew David Sanders.

She is survived by daughter, Linda Lee Rogers (Ronald), grandchildren Clay Rogers (Mandy) Steven Rogers (Chelsea) and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Olivia, Emmy and Elsie Lee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Special caregivers are Jennie Houston and Dolly Hodge.

Memorials may be given to First Methodist Church in Pulaski, TN.
