Funeral services for Mr. Thurston Leon England, 89 of Simcoe, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 1, 2018 at Jones Chapel 1st Baptist Church; burial will follow at Jones Chapel Cemetery, with Bro. Steve Bryan officiating. He will lie-in-state at the church from 10:00 until 11:00.

Thurston was born on February 19, 1929 to the late Elmer & Gladys Sims England; and passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at his residence. He served as a installer for poultry equipment across Cullman County most of his life. Mr. England is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue England; son, Jimmy England; grandson, Heath Wisner; sister, Ella Mae Brown; brother, Edward England.
Survivors include 2 – Daughters – Donna (Johnny) Scott & Anita Wisner; 2 – Sons – Garry England & Terry England; 2 – Sisters – Wynell Hinkle & Melba Sue (Authur) Ryan; Brother – Randle (Gaynell) England; 10 – Grandchildren; 6 – Great-Grandchildren; 3 – Great-Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday September 30, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
