Daryl Edward Swindle, 68, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born March 12, 1950 in Russellville, AL to Buford Swindle and Evelyn Childers Swindle. He worked as a furnace operator at NTN Bower and was a member of Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church, Hodges, AL.

Services will be Sunday, September 30, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Clint Holcombe officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery, Hodges, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his wife – Darise Swindle, Hodges, AL; one daughter – Tricia Swindle (Carla) Cullman, AL; three step-daughters – Lisa Keller (Jeremy) Hodges, AL, Kristi Scott (Greg) Russellville, AL and Misti Keller (Brandon) Hodges, AL; nine grandchildren – Chase Knoblock (Danielle), Colby Knoblock, Miranda, Montana, Alex, Kayleigh, Gage, Bryson and Preslie; four great-grandchildren; one brother – Mark Swindle (Vicky) and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Phillip Swindle and Ernie Lee Swindle and a sister, Deloris Swindle.

Pallbearers will be Chase Knoblock, Colby Knoblock, Gage Keller, Thomas Upton, Kevin Upton and Andrew Upton.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 30, 1-3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
