James Lewis Davis, 88, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born December 27, 1929 to the late Audie Preston Davis and the late Baby Ruth Davis Davis in Itawamba County. He was a member of East Fulton Baptist Church. James was married to the love of his life, Donna for 58 years. He was an avid antique car collector and a strong Christian. He was a good husband, good father, and provider for his family which he loved dearly. He was Army Veteran during the Korean War era.
Services will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday September 29, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Dewitt Baine officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday September 29, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his Wife, Donna Davis, Son, David Lewis (Diana) Davis of Crowley, TX, Grandchildren, Heather Nicole (Gary) Parker of Meriden, CT, and Brittney Dianne (David) Pavlin of Fort Woth, TX, great grandchildren, Mathew Parker, Emalee Parker, Olivia Pavlin, Madison Pavlin, Isabella Pavlin, 2 Brothers, Ernest Allen (Martha) Davis of Fulton, and Fred Davis of Booneville, Sister, Ellaween Harvey of Fulton, and a very special nephew, Jerry Davis of Tremont.
He was preceded in death by a Son, James Allen Davis, his parents, 1 Brother, Audie Ray Davis, and a Sister, Twila Ford.
