Carla Jean Mitchell, 67, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born July 18, 1951 in Decatur, IL to Carl Burton Libby and Joann West Libby. She was a housekeeper at Generations of Red Bay and attended Pentecostal Faith Church, Red Bay, AL.
Services will be Tuesday, October 2, 1 p.m. at Pentecostal Faith Church, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jimmy Massey officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are her brothers and sisters – Joyce Shingelton, Earl Libby, Gary Warnick, Johnny Libby and Lori Libby and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Monday, October 1, 6-8 p.m. at Pentecostal Faith Church, Red Bay, AL.
