Charles Thomas “Charlie” Brown, age 68, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at V.A. Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, former employee of Doss Brothers, a member of VFW Post 1618, and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Brown served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Robert Brown; his mother, Lela Lou Clanton Shaw; step-father, Sam Shaw; two brothers, William Robert “Bobby” Brown, Jr. and Travis Brown; three sisters, Ramona Kay Burks, Betty Rebecca Taylor, and Sarah Carolyn Bryant; three half-brothers, Charles Edward Cole, Buddy Brown, and Hoover Brown; and four half-sisters, Margie VanPelt, Mattie Brewer, Juanita Brown, and Joyce Williams.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Friday, September 28, 2018, with Wayne Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
