Florence Police Arrest Two Suspects In Separate Robberies Over Weekend

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of two suspects in separate robberies over the weekend of September 21-23:

“James Daniel Moss was arrested over the weekend for breaking into a business located at 116 E. Tennessee St. in Florence, Alabama. Moss is accused of entering unlawfully into the business after hours, taking multiple items from inside, as well as damaging property within the business. Moss was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd and is currently confined in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.

Timmy A. Trousdale

 

Timmy A. Trousdale was arrested on 09/22/2018 for Robbery 3rd and Resisting Arrest. Trousdale is accused of stealing multiple clothing items from Belk Department Store, 301 Cox Creek Pkwy. Florence, Alabama. Trousdale was observed by Asset Protection employees taking the items and attempting to leave the store without paying. Trousdale was approached by employees at which time he brandished a clothing rack, as if he were going to hit the employee, and he fled. Florence Police Officer’s arrived moments later and pursued Trousdale. Officer’s and Asset Protection employees caught Trousdale in the parking lot and Trousdale began to fight with them. During the fight an employee with Belk was punched in the face by Trousdale. Trousdale is being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center with a $3,500 bond.”
