Neta Jane Jones Garrison departed this life on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the age of 81 years, 4 months, and 17 days. She was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on May 4, 1937, the daughter of the late Zelford Clyde and Artie Lee Nixon Jones. On January 5, 2006, she was united in marriage to Charles Lamar Garrison, who survives.
Neta Jane had worked for Garan Manufacturing and Quick Mart. She was a member of the Crump First Baptist Church. She loved being outdoors and working outside with her flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Lamar Garrison of Adamsville, Tennessee; children, Danny Joe Garrison of Austin, Texas and Anthony Todd Garrison of Munford, Tennessee; sisters, Betty Jones Stocks of Stantonville, Tennessee and Dorothy Jones Pettigrew of Adamsville, Tennessee; and Sammy Jones of Michie, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Margaret Elaine Garrison and Charles Lamar Garrison, Jr.; brothers, Garland Jones, Jimmy Jones, and Mike Jones; and sisters Nell Chambers and Lavon Sullivan.
