Dot Vanderpool of Pulaski passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski. She was born in McMinnville, Tennessee on July; 22, 1929 and was 89 years old.
She retired as a cafeteria worker in the Giles County School System and was a homemaker. Dot and husband Ralph were avid Vols fans and traveled 46 years straight to their games. She loved to travel, riding her 4 wheeler and being outdoors at their river cabin fishing.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00pm until 2:00pm followed by a graveside service at Giles Memory Garden at 2:30pm.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ralph Vanderpool, son, Jimmy Vanderpool, parents, Clyde and Willie Bell Davis and sister Helen Jones.
She is survived by her,
Son, Bobby Vanderpool of Pulaski
Grandson, Knox (Brooke) Vanderpool of Pulaski
Granddaughter, Stacie (Jimmy) Potts of Tullahoma
Great-grandchildren, Ashton Potts, Braxdon Potts, Jett Vanderpool, Rocker Vanderpool and Stevi James.
Brother, Clyde Thomas Davis.
Several nephews, nieces and many friends also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Dot Vanderpool.
