Bill Edward Williams William “Bill” Edward Williams, age 76, Russellville, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at his residence.

Bill was a very hard worker and a great mechanic. He loved to hunt, watch Nascar and boxing, was a diehard fan of Dale Earnhardt, and was an avid Alabama fan. He loved his wife, his children, and especially his grandchildren. Everyone who knew him, loved him, and will miss him.

The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Dempsey Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Lizzie Williams; brother, Freddie Williams; sisters, Linda Brewer, Iva Gober, and Eva McNatt.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 57 years, Patricia Taylor Williams; children, Latrica Thomas (Mike), Kristie Malone (Brent), Mike Williams (Jana), Brett Williams (Stephanie), Jordan Williams (Gabby); grandchildren, Kristin Tompkins (Jonathon), Keslie Hamm (Cory), Ryan Malone, Catlean Williams (Sam), Erica Williams, Annaliese Rogers, Ally Williams, Jayden Pearson, Preston Pearson, Kila Williams, Luke Williams, Crimson Williams, Addison Williams, Arya Williams, Nolan Williams; great-grandchildren, Tristan Hamm, Kobe Hamm, Khloe Hamm; brother, John Williams; sister, Beatrice Lindley; and a host of nieces & nephews.

The pallbearers will be Ryan Malone, Cory Hamm, Jonathon Tompkins, Sam Presley, Randy Freemon, and Jonathan Humphres.

The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Jessica Jones, Whitney Walker, and the rest of the staff of Kindred Hospice for the love and care of our family.
