James L. “Buddy” Burleson, age 88, of Summertown, TN passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of the Barnesville Community, retired from Oxidental Chemical, and a member of Summertown Baptist Church. Mr. Burleson served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lillie Hicks Burleson; his wife, Billie Lee Collins Burleson; four brothers, John Burleson, Howard Burleson, Andrew Burleson, and Jerry Ratliff; one sister, Margaret Rawdon; one son, Donnie Burleson; and one great-grandson, Landon Fleeman.
