Mr. Troy E. Phillips, age 72, of Arab passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Phillips was born on January 15, 1946 in Marshall County to William Harrison Phillips & Neatie Lavella Wilks Phillips. Mr. Phillips has been married to Mrs. Rachel Lannette Leak Phillips for 49 years. He served as an Electrical Foreman for J.S.I in Huntsville. Mr. Phillips enjoyed camping, fishing and was an avid Alabama Football fan.
Mr. Phillips was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Phillips; sons & daughter-in-laws, Ricky Phillips & Donna, Jeffrey Leak & Crystal; grandchildren, Lyndsey Phillips, Addison Leak, Cullan Leak, Emory Leak; brothers and sister-in-laws, Raymon Phillips & Donna, Louie Phillips & Estelle; sister & brother-in-law, Lavella Maze & R.V.. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marion Phillips, Aron Phillips & Rayford Phillips; sister, Nellie Hayes.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday September 20, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Randy Blakely & Bro. Greg Stone officiating. Burial will be in Brashiers Chapel Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will include: Jack Phillips, Roger Hayes, Bobby Hayes, David Guger, Mark Litchford & Jerry Messenger.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
