Wendell Eldridge Pigg – Obituary

 Wendell Eldridge Pigg, 75, of Addison, entered into rest on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Wendell was born on March 7, 1943 in Cullman County, Alabama. Wendell worked on a river boat and as an escort driver.  He was affectionately known as “Wink”.  Wendell loved his dogs and passing time with friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 1pm-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be held at 2pm.  Minister Darlene Hudgins will officiate.  Burial will follow in Sardis Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery.

Wendell is survived by his son, David Pigg and wife Lisa; daughter, Sandy Pigg Taylor; brother, Cecil Pigg; 6 grandchildren, Kayla, Alex, and Kimberly Taylor, Jacob Pigg, Zachary and Patrick Darnell; 3 great grandchildren, Bentley, Madisyn, and Brinlyn Darnell.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Pigg; mother, Audie Pigg; brother, Buck Pigg; and sister, Louise Pigg.
