Stephen Bates ChapmanStephen Bates Chapman of Pulaski passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, TN. He was born on October 2, 1949 and was 68 years old.
He was a loving father and brother, a United States Army Veteran of the 173 & 82nd Airborne Infintry, and loved to fish in his spare time.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 18th from 1:00 until 2:00 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will follow visitation on Tuesday at 2:00 in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Brandon Bass officiating.
Burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery with full military honors.

Preceded in death by his son, Timothy Bates Chapman and parents, Arvil Knox and Glinda Mary Russell Chapman.

Granddaughters, Victoria Chapman of Pulaski and Megan McEown of Athens, AL.
Sisters, Nelle Greene of Pulaski, Mary (Denver) Trapp of Lawrenceburg and Martha Sue Hughey of Mt. Pleasant, TN.
Brother, Arvil Knox (Nancy) Chapman, Jr. of Pulaski
Several nephews, nieces and friends also survive.
