Law enforcement agencies from multiple counties have joined forces to help solve crimes in northwest Alabama; the combined efforts have led to increased arrests and help to insure public safety. Through Shoals Area Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tip line (256-386-8685), which is available 24 hours a day 7 days, information is received and if it leads to an arrest, the caller may be eligible for a reward up to $1000.00. The “Tip Money” is supported through various fundraisers and donations from the community, allowing Shoals Area Crime Stoppers to keep the program running, and continue their fight against crime.

Cooking for Justice is the largest fundraiser CrimeStoppers presents – have you ever had “Pottsta Salad,” how about “Patriot PoPo Pork?” What about “Probate Pudding” or “Cuff & Stuff Bell Pepper Soup!” There are so many delicious choices available! The public is encouraged to come out and support the program that has become an important part of stopping crime. Taste some great dishes especially prepared for the event, check out the themed booths created by the teams, and vote for your favorite dish and theme. A family-friendly, fun time for a great cause!
