Joey Blankenship, 58, of Moulton passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date with Lawrence Funeral Home assisting with arrangements.
Joey loved life and life loved him. He helped anyone who needed it and everyone loved him. He was a good, kind man.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Blankenship; children, Melissa Shae Blankenship (Eddie), Larry Joe Blankenship (Kassandra), and Beth Ann Blankenship (Thomas); grandchildren, Trey McConnell, Courtney McConnell, Hailey Cummings, Dallas Cummings, Kaylee Blankenship, Zoey Blankenship and Zain Blankenship; sister, Edna Butler (Scottie); brothers, Tommie Blankenship (Helan), Bodie Blankenship (Sherry) and Heath Case (Carla); and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Russell Blankenship and Florene Case; and brothers, Russell Blankenship, Jr., William Larry Blankenship and James Harvey Blankenship.
The family extends special thanks to Hospice of the Valley, Christiana Gonzolez, Janice Echols, Regina and Chenika.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.
