Deadera was born August 9, 1960 in Decatur to the late Murray Alexander and Virgie Belle Julian. She departed this life on September 8, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. Years later, Virgie married Percy O ’Neal Aldridge and he adopted Deadera as his own.

She was affectionately known to her family and friends as ‘Dee Dee” and to grandkids and their neighborhood friends as “Mama Dee Dee.” Confessed her life to Christ at an early age. She became a member of Progressive Outreach Ministries and later joined Redeeming Love Outreach Ministries where she was an avid member.

Deadra had an infectious smile that would light up an entire room. She loved to sing and dance and was always known as the “life of the party.” Dee Dee never met a stranger. Christmas was her favorite holiday which she made sure everyone had a gift and felt loved.
