Shelia Lynn Adams, 47, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at NMRC (Rosedale) in Fulton. She was born November 6, 1970 to the late Roy L. Adams and Janice Wood Adams York. As a young child, Shelia participated in swimming, music, and dancing programs that were put on at her residence at NMRC. She enjoyed going to Sardis Lake and having picnics there with her family. Her favorite part of those picnics was getting to eat as many bananas as her mom would let her. Shelia enjoyed people. She was always ready to hug anyone and had a smile on her face all of the time. She was a ray of sunshine to her family and will be greatly missed..
Services will be 3:00 pm on Saturday September 8, 2018 at Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Richard York, Bro. Tommy Waddle, and Bro. Kerry Lee Peden officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 at Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Janice Adams (Richard) York of Arab, AL; sisters: Angie (Johnny) Yielding of Golden and Sherri Huddleston of Nettleton; brother, Shayne (Darla) Adams of Golden; brother, Mark (Delanna) Renfroe of Navoo; several nieces and nephews.
